Heather and Andrew – October 2016 Wedding

April 27th, 2018

Not only do I love this simple yet gorgeous invitation, but I love the photos of the suite together!  All in one photo you have the two-sided save the date, the gold foil invitation, the gold foil folded thank you notes, the table number, and last but not least, the absolutely adorable little folded wedding program complete with a tiny little ribbon.

Katie and Will – Silver Pebble, Silver Foil, Silver Everything!

April 26th, 2016

I actually worked with the mother-of-the-bride throughout this entire process, and she was a true delight to work with.  Its ALWAYS fun to work with a client that tells you “I love stationery and I want these to be fabulous since it will set the tone for the entire weekend’s events.”  YES!  The original inspiration was just something unique for the design without too much else to work with.  So, I do what I always do, and start asking questions about the event and the bride’s favorite parts of the planning process so far.  Her mother told me, “Oh, by far, the dress.  She is obsessed with her dress.”  So, here it is and we used this as the inspiration for the invitations.  I think they turned out pretty “fabulous.”

Save the Dates

The save the dates were what starts it all, and these were done relatively (a really nice way of saying VERY) quickly.  Digitally printed with the same silver metallic stock as the middle layer as was used on the invitation.

The Wedding Invitations

These stunners were silver foil printed for all of the pieces on a smooth/semi-gloss white cardstock and mounted to a light silver pocketfold with the gorgeous pebble embossed paper and dark graphite stock accent.  I really cant get enough of that pebble paper, and its obvious my clients cant either!

Meredith and Wesley – Monogram and Atlanta Skyline Save the Date

March 31st, 2016

These two came to me wanting something super special and unique for their save the date.  They had a custom monogram created in advance to working with me and the bride really wanted the save the date to represent the two of them coming together in marriage.  On top of that, she wanted to have a subtle Atlanta theme so instead of doing anything too Atlanta themed on the piece itself I suggested we do a photo of the Atlanta skyline for the envelope liner and she LOVED the idea. The pieces for the monogram (the separate initials on the outside and the initials joined on the inside) were all letterpress printed so that they stood out more amongst the other text.  Super cool, super unique and something we can certainly recreate for any client getting married in any city!

Michelle and Danny – Rose Gold and Navy

March 31st, 2016

Its an incredibly special moment when one of your best friends finally marries the woman of his dreams, and its even more special when you get to work with them on something so personal for the wedding.  Of course our friend Danny was not the one behind all of the design choices, so I worked with his fiancé, Michelle, on all of the details.  She was kind enough to provide me with the details and her color theme and let me really just run with it.  Between the rose gold foil printing, the navy letterpress, the layering, and the custom pink peony envelope liner I can honestly say they were BOTH thrilled with the result and so was I.

Aren’t they cute?!!!

Eli’s Bar Mitzvah Invitation – March Madness

March 29th, 2016

I love a good party, especially one with an amazing theme.  This was one that I had SO much fun creating because it allowed me to get alllll of my creative juices flowing.  The client had a pretty clear picture of what she wanted the invitations to look and feel like for her son’s March Madness themed Bar Mitzvah so it really was a matter of executing this plan and I think we pretty much got a “slam dunk” with this one.

Antique Blue and Bronze Save the Dates and Wedding Invitations

November 13th, 2012

I love when my clients send me photos of the wedding stationery that we design for them that their photographer took on the wedding day.  It means so much and they always turn out SO much better than the ones I take.  I thought I would share a few that I received from a client of mine.  I just love the way her invitations and the save the dates turned out, don’t you?

Atlanta Weddings Magazine – Fall/Winter Issue 2012

November 6th, 2012

I tell people all the time that I really believe I have the best clients in the world.  I have come to meet so many amazing people in the past several years, and many of them have become friends.  I consider myself fortunate to know Cindy Simmons (of Star 94 Atlanta Radio) and her now husband, Eric Carnell.  Cindy, Eric and their daughter Lily have been neighbors of mine for the past 2.5 years.  Cindy and Eric are two of the most kind, generous, loving, considerate, giving, and thoughtful people you will ever meet.  Lily is just the same, and I hope that my daughter is half as great as she is one day.  Cindy and Eric’s wedding was so personal and I’m so honored that not only did I get to work with them on all of their wedding stationery (save the dates, wedding invitations, programs, and wedding monogram), but I also attended the wedding.  They were featured this year in the Fall/Winter Atlanta Weddings magazine and I wanted to share it with you all.  I have to say, there were so many great parts of this wedding but I think my favorite part was when Eric took a knee and recited vows to Lily.  I tear up just thinking about it, and I have yet to experience a ceremony as moving as that one.  Loved…every…minute.

You can view pictures of their Save the Date here:  http://www.occasionsonline.com/weddings-and-parties/special-save-the-date-from-atlanta-star-94-host-7959

As a side note, I’m very delayed on posting this article.  So late that they have since added to their family with another gorgeous little girl, Luna James.  I know, I know…I have got to get better about this blogging thing.  Many congrats to the wonderful couple!!

Layla and Corey – June 12, 2010

December 3rd, 2010

What a wedding! It is always so fun to do designs with your friends, and I was lucky enough to work with one of the most amazing people I know. Layla and I have known each other for many, many years (not going to date myself with the number…not to mention Layla would kill me if I did), and I am so lucky to call her my friend. When I first saw Layla and Corey together I knew that was IT! So, when the ring came…we all weren’t too surprised. Layla and Corey had such a beautiful wedding, and I am so glad that I am able to share some photos with you.

The event photography was done by nadia d. photography and the invitation photos were taken by James Paul Photography.
