Sarah was a super sweet girl from Tennessee who had just happened upon my website while searching for invitations. Being that she was in Tennessee and I’m here in Atlanta, I sent her paper samples and invitation samples in the mail to help us narrow down what she wanted for her invitations, and came up with this stunning champagne, taupe, blush, and rose gold letterpress and foil printed invitation set complete with a rose gold edge paint and custom monogram by Allison Banks. I especially love the rose gold foil address on the blush response envelopes! These invitation certainly exceeded Sarah’s expectations, and I can certainly see why!

Meaghan and Patrick were a delightful couple. They wanted an invitation that was not only timeless and elegant, but really set the tone for a spectacular event. Her colors were a soft white, taupe and gold so we went with this exact color theme for the invitations. I honestly could not possibly be more pleased with how these turned out. The invitation has the stunning pebble paper, dark taupe letterpress with gold foil, and a custom designed monogram (by Allison R. Banks Designs). One of my favorite parts was the gold foil address printed on the textured taupe response envelope. Im sure you will agree!

Blush and gold were all the rage in 2015, and the trend even continues strongly into 2016. So, to answer Jessica’s original question when we first chatted of “Our colors are blush and gold…have you done something with those colors before?” The answer was a resounding “yes” and we had so many samples to show her. She decided to go with a stunning dark gold letterpress printed invitation set with a soft champagne and blush backing and custom champagne glitter belly band with two color letterpress tag and custom monogram. These turned out so incredibly pretty.

She even had her photographer take some photos of the stationery at the wedding!

These two came to me wanting something super special and unique for their save the date. They had a custom monogram created in advance to working with me and the bride really wanted the save the date to represent the two of them coming together in marriage. On top of that, she wanted to have a subtle Atlanta theme so instead of doing anything too Atlanta themed on the piece itself I suggested we do a photo of the Atlanta skyline for the envelope liner and she LOVED the idea. The pieces for the monogram (the separate initials on the outside and the initials joined on the inside) were all letterpress printed so that they stood out more amongst the other text. Super cool, super unique and something we can certainly recreate for any client getting married in any city!

Its an incredibly special moment when one of your best friends finally marries the woman of his dreams, and its even more special when you get to work with them on something so personal for the wedding. Of course our friend Danny was not the one behind all of the design choices, so I worked with his fiancé, Michelle, on all of the details. She was kind enough to provide me with the details and her color theme and let me really just run with it. Between the rose gold foil printing, the navy letterpress, the layering, and the custom pink peony envelope liner I can honestly say they were BOTH thrilled with the result and so was I.

Aren’t they cute?!!!

The Wedding Invitations

Carolyn came to me really wanting a letterpress invitation set designed much like one she found online. The issue she had was the invitation style she found online was over her budget by a few thousand dollars. So, we took the idea in theory and made it more affordable by making the size of the invitation smaller and limiting the number of pieces in the set (doing a response card where her guests will reply online or through a phone number versus a traditional response card with envelope). We then tied the invitation set together with a satin bow and place in a pearl white envelope with black envelope liner. This gave her exactly what she wanted in a budget that she was much more comfortable with. We even designed matching thank you cards with a very delicate and simple design that could be used for years to come.
