I actually worked with the mother-of-the-bride throughout this entire process, and she was a true delight to work with. Its ALWAYS fun to work with a client that tells you “I love stationery and I want these to be fabulous since it will set the tone for the entire weekend’s events.” YES! The original inspiration was just something unique for the design without too much else to work with. So, I do what I always do, and start asking questions about the event and the bride’s favorite parts of the planning process so far. Her mother told me, “Oh, by far, the dress. She is obsessed with her dress.” So, here it is and we used this as the inspiration for the invitations. I think they turned out pretty “fabulous.”

Save the Dates
The save the dates were what starts it all, and these were done relatively (a really nice way of saying VERY) quickly. Digitally printed with the same silver metallic stock as the middle layer as was used on the invitation.

The Wedding Invitations
These stunners were silver foil printed for all of the pieces on a smooth/semi-gloss white cardstock and mounted to a light silver pocketfold with the gorgeous pebble embossed paper and dark graphite stock accent. I really cant get enough of that pebble paper, and its obvious my clients cant either!

Danica and I have a mutual friend in common, so when she had a “not so awesome” experience with another vendor on her save the dates she contacted our mutual friend and put us in touch…and Im so glad she did! Danica and David live in New Jersey and were originally planning to get married in Cabo, but when Cabo was hit my a hurricane the hotel was destroyed and they had to completely regroup last minute (sadly, after the gorgeous two color foil save the date was created and printed). All was good in the world, however, because they hired an incredible wedding planner out of NYC (Jennifer Zabinski with JZ Events) that pulled a new location and vendors together very quickly. Working alongside Allison Banks with Allison R. Banks Designs, we created a stunning save the date and wedding invitation suite that will surely make your heart melt. {Don’t forget to check out the amazing article on the gorgeous couple in Grace Ormande Magazine}.
The Save the Date
Custom designed monogram by Allison Banks with two color foil, both platinum and rose gold foils, and duplexed with a white stock on one side and a champagne stock on the back.

The Wedding Invitation
This one was a doozy, so try to follow me as I explain all of the amazingly custom parts to this invitation set. For one, we used Allison’s calligraphy designs for the entire suite, then imaged and engraved them in a stunning medium gray ink. All of the pieces were printed on double thick stock with the main invitation being double thick stock DUPLEXED to make it double as thick. Then, when you didn’t think it could get more decadent, we edge painted each piece in rose gold foil and created a custom snakeskin embossed envelope liner and belly band. And last, but certainly not least, Allison did the calligraphy on both the outer and inner envelopes in a custom ink color to match the invitations. I mean, really…this was such a gorgeous invitation.

The Thank You Notes
You can’t go all this way with stunning stationery and not have amazing thank you notes to complete the set! We decided to go a teeny bit more masculine on these with just the right amount of femininity. These were copper engraved with their custom monogram on a double thick (once again) slate stock and paired with a matching envelope and copper envelope liner. I then included a white ink pen for the bride to write all of thank you notes with. Love, love, love!
