Lorraine and Will – A Real UGA Wedding

July 2nd, 2016

Lorraine found me just searching the internet and, turns out, she lived literally walking distance from my studio/home!  How cool is that?  It gets even COOLER when I find out that she is getting married at my alma mater, University of Georgia, AND she is having a black, white and RED themed wedding.  I mean, of course she is…right?  Love these photos she shared with me from her photographer at the wedding.

For the love of calligraphy…

May 8th, 2013

I just cannot say enough great things about how this invitation turned out!  With the help of Diane Rember of Calligraphy Expressions, who designed each piece of this invitation set, we were able to create this stunning set.  From the gorgeous calligraphy to the crisp and clean black thermography print to the Italian deckled edge paper…ugh, I just LOVE it!  I hope you all enjoy this as much as I (obviously) do.

Carolyn and Edward – Letterpress

November 6th, 2012

Carolyn came to me really wanting a letterpress invitation set designed much like one she found online.  The issue she had was the invitation style she found online was over her budget by a few thousand dollars.  So, we took the idea in theory and made it more affordable by making the size of the invitation smaller and limiting the number of pieces in the set (doing a response card where her guests will reply online or through a phone number versus a traditional response card with envelope).  We then tied the invitation set together with a satin bow and place in a pearl white envelope with black envelope liner.  This gave her exactly what she wanted in a budget that she was much more comfortable with.  We even designed matching thank you cards with a very delicate and simple design that could be used for years to come.

Lauren and Mike – Blush Pink and Black

November 6th, 2012

Lauren was the first bride this year that wanted to do blush pink and black.  At the time I had not seen this color combo together, but once I started to do some reasearch I completely understood what all the fuss was about.  What fun colors!!!

Charleen and Dustin – October 2, 2010

December 23rd, 2010

Charleen and Dustin were referred to me by another bride, and what a fun couple. Charleen actually had a friend provide us with the graphic and then we just used the graphic and made sure it worked perfectly with the rest of the invitation. You cant tell in these photos but we printed the invitation using thermography (raised printing) and it just turned out perfect. As you can tell, they had a blast! I especially love the choreographed dance by the bridal party :). Looks like a wedding that I would love to attend!

Another One for the Damask Bride

November 2nd, 2010

Being a fellow damask lover myself, I cannot help but be drawn to the pattern, and especially how you can use that pattern for the decor in your wedding and on your invitations. Not to mention the amazing texture from a letterpress print, and that bright blue that brings an amazing pop of color against the black and white contrast.

Jen’s Pink and Black Baby Shower

October 1st, 2010

I just adore this invitation. Jen was having a baby girl, Eden, and her baby’s room is all pink and black and has a small black chandalier that hangs from the center of the ceiling. It is just adorable. So, we chose to design an invite that would replicate the room. I hope you enjoy!

Christine and Larry – Black, and White and GREEN!

September 1st, 2010

I racked my brain for months trying to decide what my very first post would be. Then, I decided not to make my life so complicated and just blog about something I knew best…my own wedding! With damask being such a hot theme for weddings this year I hope that this post will give all you fellow “damask-lovers” some good ideas. My husband Larry and I got married at this fabulous beach community (Carillon) in Panama City Beach, Florida, and we could not have asked for a more perfect day (as you can see). A special thanks to our AMAZING photographers, VUE Photography, we have the following pics to share with you. Enjoy!
